Longbows : These are English Longbows that we sell starting at $300.00.The two to the left are Yew English Longbows . We sell them for $800.00. All of our longbows are made by hand the same way that they have been made for thousands of years. The logs are split out by hand and left to dry to the proper moisture content. Then they are worked to one growth ring of the tree on the back of the bow so that no growth rings can rise up and split. The Yew bows the sapwood is left on the back of the bow because it has good tension strength and horn tips are used on tips just as they were made in the middle ages and are made round and bend through the entire length . Only hand tools are used in making them just like all of our bows.
